The District office is located in Driggs, Idaho.  The area administered by the District covers approximately 265,000 acres.  The District has a variety of landscapes ranging from broad, gentle slopes, steep canyons and mountains, to high elevation glacially scoured ridges and basins perched above U-shaped canyons and troughs.  The District includes portions of the Big Hole Mountains, Palisades and Teton Ranges.  Most of the 123,451-acre Jedediah Smith Wilderness is on this District.  The east
